Tips For First Use

Here are a few tips to spark their curiosity when starting out:

1. Hide and Seek: Partially cover the Speedy Tail 2.0 with a light blanket. The hidden movement might spark their curiosity.

2. Try Different Speeds: Press the power button to cycle between fast and slow mode. The slow mode will be less overwhelming for your cat at the start.

3. Make own tail attachments: Try attaching a small, familiar toy to the Speedy Tail tail using a soft string. This might make it seem more inviting to your cat.

Remember, patience and positive reinforcement are key! Let your cat explore the Speedy Tail 2.0 at their own pace, and reward them with treats and praise when they show interest.

Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Short press the power button, and cycle to power off.

• Switch Modes: Long press the power button.

• Switch Speed: Press the power button once to cycle through different speeds.

Different Modes

The light color indicates the mode:

• Green(steady): Normal Mode
    • Runs for 5-minutes, then shuts off automatically.
    • Short press the power button and cycle to shut off manually.

• Blue(steady): Smart Mode
    • Runs for 5-minutes, then enters standby mode.
    • Any touch will reactivate it for another 5-minute play session.
    • Short press the power button and cycle to enter standby mode manually.

Speed Selection

• Press the power button on the to cycle between Slow and Fast modes.

• Speed selection works in both Smart and Manual modes.

Power Cycle:

Power Off → Slow Mode → Fast Mode → Power Off → Fast Mode → Slow Mode → (Repeats)

Charging

To charge the Speedy Tail 2.0, simply insert the included USB Type-C charging cable into the port located on the side of the toy, under the silicone flap. Plug it into a wall adapter or any USB power source, such as a laptop. Avoid using fast chargers, as they may not be compatible with the toy.

Indicator Lights

• Red (flashing): Low battery – time to charge!
• Blue (flashing): Charging
• Blue (steady): Fully charged

Can my cat break the Speedy Tail?

No. As long as it doesn't involve a tiger or lion, it can't happen. The Speedy Tail is very sturdy built and has no visible screws. The tab that closes the USB port is fully embedded in the toy, so your cat can't bite it off.

Does the Speedy Tail need to be set up first?

No. When you receive the Speedy Tail, first fully charge it. Use the USB cable that comes with the toy. Then just press and hold the power button for a few seconds to activate the Speedy Tail. That's it.

What if my cat doesn't like the Speedy Tail?

Why mine only runs for 5 minutes?

Manual Mode: The Speedy Tail 2.0 automatically turns off after 5 minutes.

Smart Mode: To activate, hold the power button until the light turns blue. In this mode, the toy enters standby after 5 minutes, and any touch will reactivate it.
